Lewis-Manning Hospice offers a range of palliative care services to the local community.
End of Life Care – we provide the best quality end of life care and support for all of our patients. We currently have six well designed and well equipped bedrooms with plans to extend to twelve in the future.
Day Hospice – provided by specialist nurses and a multi-professional team, our Day Hospice is designed to enhance the quality of life by offering physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual support in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.
Lymphoedema Clinic – for treatment of the swelling of a limb that is sometimes caused by cancer or the treatment of cancer.
Better Breathing Clinic – for the relief of breathlessness mainly due to cancer of the lung.
Physiotherapy – aims to maximise independence, well-being and quality of life, and minimise the extent to which troubling symptoms, caused by disease or its treatment, interferes with an individual’s day to day function.
