Our Day Hospice service aims to help support adults living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses in co-operation with the wider multi-disciplinary team involved in their care.
Day Hospice operates Monday to Friday, from 10am to 3pm, with most patients attending one day each week. We are able to offer a more flexible approach to those who wish to dip in to our services.
This is a nurse-led service and we maintain strong links with the medical, nursing and other professional teams involved in a person’s care.
Staffing levels in Day Hospice:
There is a minimum of two Registered Nurses on duty in Day Hospice each day supported by Health Care Assistants.
