Family-friendly 10 mile Treasure Hunt
Time to ride as a family or group of friends cycling around the beautiful Purbecks, with coastal views and plenty of well deserved stopping points to refuel or simply to admire the landscape. Setting off from close to Lewis-Manning Hospice on Evening Hill, the gentle downhill start leads towards Sandbanks and the stunning peninsula before crossing the busy stretch of water by the famous Chain Ferry overlooking Poole Harbour and Brownsea Island and ashore onto Studland. The route comprises quiet roads and some tracks all suitable for a variety of bikes, big or small. Following a loop, the route heads back to the ferry for the short flat section to Sandbanks Jazz Cafe for well earned refreshments (not included in the fee – see what’s available at www.jazzcafesandbanks.co.uk
